Free Captain Fantastic Pinball Machine Giveaway

Ed’s Funcade is giving away one (1) Captain Fantastic pinball machine, approximately 50 years old, in a free drawing. Drawing date: September 6, 2026, at 6:00 PM, at Ed’s Funcade, 2216 Boardwalk, Wildwood, New Jersey.

Eligibility

Open to all attendees eighteen (18) years of age or older. You must be on location by 3:00 PM as this is the final and last chance to get a free drawing ticket for the 4:00 PM Captain Fantastic album giveaway and the 6:00 PM Captain Fantastic pinball machine giveaway. No purchase necessary. Employees of Ed’s Funcade and their immediate family are ineligible.

The Prize

The machine is awarded “AS IS,” “WHERE IS,” and “WITH ALL FAULTS.” No warranty of any kind is made or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or that the machine is in working condition. The machine is approximately 50 years old and may not be 100% working. No repairs, parts, or service will be provided before or after the drawing.

Transport and Moving

The winner is solely and entirely responsible for all transport, moving, loading, unloading, rigging, and removal of the machine from the premises. Ed’s Funcade will assist with wrapping and loading the machine onto the winner’s vehicle, but this assistance is provided as a courtesy only and does not transfer any responsibility. Once the machine is loaded onto the winner’s vehicle, the winner assumes one hundred percent (100%) responsibility for the machine in every way, including all risk of loss, damage, or injury.

Photography, Likeness, and Publicity Release

By entering this giveaway, remaining on the premises during the drawing, and/or accepting any prize, each participant and winner acknowledges and agrees that Ed’s Funcade, its owners, operators, employees, contractors, and agents may photograph, film, and otherwise record the participant, including at the time of ticket issuance, the drawing, prize announcement, loading, and related events.

Each participant and winner hereby grants Ed’s Funcade a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide, transferable right and license to use, reproduce, edit, publish, display, broadcast, and distribute the participant’s name, image, likeness, voice, photograph, and video recording, in whole or in part, in any media now known or later developed, including without limitation social media, websites, print and digital advertising, promotional materials, press coverage, and in-store displays, without further notice, review, approval, or compensation of any kind.

Participant and winner release and hold harmless Ed’s Funcade, its owners, operators, employees, and agents from any and all claims arising out of such photography or use, including without limitation claims for invasion of privacy, right of publicity, defamation, copyright, or moral rights. Participation in this giveaway constitutes consent to this release. A participant who does not agree to be photographed should not enter.

Release of Liability

By accepting the prize, the winner, on behalf of themselves and their heirs, successors, and assigns, fully and forever releases and holds harmless Ed’s Funcade, its owners, operators, employees, and agents from any and all claims, demands, damages, injuries, losses, or liabilities of any kind whatsoever, whether known or unknown, arising out of or relating to the machine, the drawing, the prize, or its transport, possession, use, or disposal. This includes, without limitation, any claim for personal injury, property damage, or any cost associated with moving or transporting the machine.

No Recourse

The winner has no right to return the machine, demand repairs, seek compensation, or pursue any legal action against Ed’s Funcade related to the machine or this giveaway. Acceptance of the prize constitutes full and final settlement of all claims.

General

This giveaway is void where prohibited. Ed’s Funcade reserves the right to cancel or modify the giveaway at any time. By entering, participants agree to these Official Rules and Disclaimer in their entirety.

WORLD CHAMPION SKEE-BALL 2026

Labor Day Weekend Saturday September 5, 2026. at Lincoln ave & Boardwalk location. 7pm-10pm sharp, All Players welcome to join in for a chance at Skee-ball glory, a trophy like no other, plus $1000 in Mastercard gift cards.

Qualify anytime from 7pm to 10pm, Open to everyone. Score 400 or better to get a T-shirt & ticket page, You must wear your shirt, each time you BEAT 380, attendant will sign a ticket space. Complete 10 ticket spaces to guarantee you move into the final round at 10pm. You may have to give up your lane if asked, once you have 10 tickets signed, "If the lane is needed for other qualifiers.” (All contestants with 10 ticket spaces signed play again at 10pm)

10pm (no later) Line up to turn in your earned ENTRY Card for 10pm Round.

1st. BEAT The Rising Score (Unlimited Contestants) Contestants will be called from the queue in groups, to play beat the rising score. You are competing against all contestants, not just your called group.

6 to 12 = 6 advance, 13 to 19 = 7 advance, 20 or more = 8 advance

Roll games until only a total of 6-8 contestants remain. Player(s) with highest score advance to the 2nd challenge. If less than 6 players BEAT Target score, remaining players will play one sudden death game of Skee-ball.

2nd. THREE game Playoff (6-8 contestants), All 3 games will be added together to make your score. The top 4 players will advance.

3rd. Hit Target Pockets (4 contestants) Same designated lane, 1 contestant at a time, alternate contestants each round. Hit the target pockets, each Set of 3 Targets Hit = 1 point, 3 points max per game, 3 games = 9 points max, Ties are decided by sudden death regular game.

Round 1, 2, and 3 “To be announced at the beginning of each round”

Total points from all 3 rounds determine top 3, and 4th, place drops.

Top 3 Classic Skeeball Final round, First to win 2 Regular games WINS the $1000 gift card & the Boardwalk cup! plus.. 2nd, & 3rd place prizes.

Additional general Rules of play

You must follow operators instructions at all times. If you do not understand any of the rules, it is up to the player to ask before playing. You will not get a second chance because you did not understand the rules.
Your PLAYcard must have enough FUNbucks balance to make it through the entire tournament, running out of FUNbucks during the tournament will disqualify you, we recommend $20 to $30 minimum to start at 10 PM. Any event of discrepancies, miss-scoring or debate, the operator will make all final decisions of outcome and decide the final penalty up to total disqualification.
No touching of lanes with any body part including feet = loss of ball rolled. No encroaching into adjacent lane areas or stepping on or over the line of your play box tape = loss of next ball play.
Lane numbers will be assigned to a lane before each round and may be placed on a different lane, in the event of any malfunction, your lane number marker will be moved to an open lane.
All ties are decided by a single game playoff.
30 sec ball time out, on all games, or lane jump ball counts as ball rolled.

To qualify, Score 35 or better to get your name on the clipboard, after that, each time you BEAT 35, attendant will give you a checkmark, you must get 10 checkmarks to get a 10pm entry card, guaranteeing you move into the final rounds at 10pm. You may have to give up your lane once you have 10 checkmarks, "Only if the lane is needed for other qualifiers.” (All contestants with entry card, play again at 10pm)

#2 Long shot Playoff, (4 contestants)

Each contestant will be called up 1 at a time to shoot 16 total shots, 4 balls on each of four courts.

1st Court, 1 point per basket

2nd Court, 2 points per basket

3rd Court, 3 points per basket

4th Court, Choice of 5, 10, 15 points per basket

(4th court only), contestant selects from choice of 5, 10, 15 point rack position for each shot. All shots must be completed over or under hand, while staying behind the ball rack foul line.

Contestant with the highest total points wins 1st place, $500 Gift card & the Golden ball trophy!
